Job/Position Title: Data Privacy Counsel
Department: Global Data Privacy Office (GDPO)
Reports to: Senior member of GDPO
Position Overview / Main Purpose
Publicis Re:Sources is seeking an experienced, self-motivated and flexible Data Privacy Counsel to support media, creative, health and communication agencies across the MENA region. The role is part of the Global Data Privacy Office (GDPO) and involves advising on privacy risks, regulatory obligations and data governance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for data privacy queries across MENA agencies
- Provide advice and guidance to internal teams across functions
- Support legal team and act as SME on adtech and marketing privacy
- Adapt data governance materials for local regulatory requirements
- Support client privacy/security assessments
- Draft, review and negotiate data privacy clauses
- Draft privacy notices, cookies policies and disclosures
- Monitor privacy regulation developments across MENA
- Advise on vendor and data partnerships
- Deliver data privacy training
- Collaborate with global teams
Key Competencies
- Qualified lawyer
- Privacy certification desirable (CIPP/E etc.)
- 3+ years legal experience
- Strong knowledge of privacy regulations
- Experience in multi-country or regional roles
