Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Lead to drive data migration governance and execution for a large-scale ERP transformation programme in Thailand. The successful candidate will own the data migration approach, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure data is ready for successful system ingestion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and implement the data migration approach for the programme.
- Lead data migration governance and execution activities.
- Drive ETL activities, including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and readiness.
- Analyse data structures and perform data validation and Intermediate User Checks (IUC).
- Ensure data owners and stakeholders follow the agreed migration framework and readiness standards.
- Create and own the final data migration report.
- Act as the final quality gate for market data deliverables, ensuring completeness and accuracy before system ingestion.
- Drive standardisation of data definitions and regional data standards.
- Ensure data activities comply with applicable privacy and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with local, regional, and global stakeholders across business and technology workstreams.
- Ensure regional data models align with global system behaviours.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data migration within large-scale ERP transformations.
- Proven experience leading ERP data migration projects .
- Must have personally owned and implemented a data migration approach/strategy .
- Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks and data mapping architectures.
- Experience in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and migration readiness.
- Strong data migration governance and execution experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management in a complex, multicultural, and matrixed environment.
- Strong English communication skills ( C1 proficiency ).
Preferred Skills
- Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central .
- Experience with other major ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle .
- Understanding of how data structures impact Finance and Media processes , including billing, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL or data manipulation tools .
