About This Role
Designing and implementing scalable enterprise data solutions is the core of this contract role, which supports business and analytics needs. The position suits an experienced data architect with a strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and solution design, with proven experience in supply chain domains and modern cloud-based data platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-wide data architectures, data models, and solution blueprints aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand supply chain processes, requirements, and challenges and translate them into scalable data solutions
- Define and maintain logical and physical data models, business rules, and data governance standards
- Design and oversee end-to-end data flows, transformation processes, and integration architectures
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across multiple systems through validation and reconciliation
- Lead data architecture and integration across enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA and other business applications
- Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure and Databricks technologies
- Establish best practices for data architecture, data management, metadata management, and data governance
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and solution teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Support data modernization initiatives and contribute to the organizations data strategy and roadmap
- Identify opportunities to improve data integration, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Data Architect
- Strong expertise in data architecture, solution design, and enterprise data modeling
- Mandatory experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related business domains
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Services
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake
- Databricks
- Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation frameworks
- Experience designing scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms
- Understanding of data validation, data quality management, and data governance principles
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
