- Develop the enterprise data architecture and a phased roadmap for implementation
- Choose the right Microsoft Fabric tools for each use case, including OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models
- Build, test, and launch initial data solutions, from ingestion and transformation through reusable models, source control, deployment, and production monitoring
- Set practical standards for data modeling, governance, metadata, lineage, quality, access, security, retention, recovery, monitoring, and cost management
- Connect Penta Software and other enterprise systems to support reliable business intelligence, operational reporting, and self-service analytics
- Monitor platform reliability, data quality, user adoption, and business value
- Improve the platform as needs evolve
- Document architecture and delivery decisions, communicate tradeoffs clearly, and safeguard confidential information
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data management, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a related field
- Experience assessing complex data environments and designing practical architectures and roadmaps for data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, or cloud analytics platforms

- Ability to translate business needs into technical priorities and make sound recommendations across competing demands
- Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, facilitation, and communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, Azure data services, or a similar cloud platform
- Experience integrating ERP, field service, project, CRM, finance, HR, payroll, or other enterprise systems
