About This Role
This role strengthens data architecture execution by managing data modeling, documentation, governance, and ETL processes. It ensures consistency, efficiency, and adherence to data governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Regularly check data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Aid in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards
- Assist in development and documentation of processes, standards, and decisions with data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
- Help ensure data management practices comply with internal policies and external regulations
- Assist in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to and integrity of data sets
- Support data stewards in managing data assets and maintaining data integrity
- Participate in training sessions to understand data governance policies and help educate other team members
- Assist in identifying and resolving data-related issues
- Generate reports on data quality metrics and governance activities
- Work with DT and business stakeholders to support data governance initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields
- Basic SQL coding
- Analytical skills
- Understand data lifecycle and data modeling
- Familiarity with database and storage solutions
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of Excel, ETL concepts, PowerPoint, documentation, data governance principles, project management fundamentals and data visualization (should be willing to learn more)
