Cybersecurity Project Manager

About the Role
We are looking to connect with experienced Cybersecurity Project Managers who have a strong background in cybersecurity governance, regulatory compliance, and security transformation initiatives. Professionals in this area typically lead projects related to information security, risk management, and compliance frameworks such as NIS2 , DORA , ISO 27001 , and other industry standards.
Typical Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity and information security projects from initiation to delivery.
- Coordinate NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, GDPR, and related compliance initiatives.
- Manage gap analyses, risk assessments, remediation programs, and audit activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, security experts, risk managers, and external partners.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
- Prepare governance reports, steering committee updates, and management presentations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
- Contribute to cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operational resilience initiatives.
Typical Profile
- Experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk, compliance, or governance projects.
- Knowledge of frameworks and regulations such as:NIS2
- DORA
- ISO 27001
- ISO 22301
- GDPR
- NIST, COBIT, or CIS Controls
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as banking, insurance, utilities, telecom, healthcare, or the public sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Language skills: French, Dutch and English
