About This Role
This cybersecurity role involves globally conceiving, communicating, and executing cybersecurity practices for the Dai-ichi Life Group. You will be a key member of the Dai-ichi Life Holdings cybersecurity team, collaborating with colleagues domestically and internationally to identify and manage cybersecurity risks, formulate countermeasures, and define an agreed-upon risk posture between business and technology. The role aims to raise organizational awareness of cybersecurity concerns through policy communication and education.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, monitor, and report information on cybersecurity risk management measures to management
- Plan, introduce, and operate cyberattack countermeasures from the internet and other sources
- Collect, analyze, and warn about software vulnerabilities, threat information, and attack alerts
- Analyze and evaluate incident information, and supervise and manage incident response
- Formulate security education, training, and policies
- Aggregate and report system information security management status
- Support the strengthening of cybersecurity posture for Dai-ichi Life Group companies, mainly domestically and internationally
Requirements
- Practical experience in CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team)
- Practical experience with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Practical experience in financial institutions or consulting firms
- Practical experience in IT development processes from upstream to downstream and project management
- Experience in system risk management or related fields
- Document creation and presentation skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Business-level Japanese, everyday conversation-level English
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent qualifications or practical experience
- Cybersecurity or related qualifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SSCP, etc.)
- Information security management experience (3+ years)
- Technical knowledge of cybersecurity (3+ years)
- IT infrastructure management experience, including network and server construction and operation (3+ years)
- Cloud service security assessment experience
- Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese and/or English, and practical-level proficiency in Japanese and/or English as a second language, and equivalent qualifications for a second language such as JLPT, IELTS
