Cyber Security Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to join their team. As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you will be part of the cybersecurity department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Halifax, CA (Remote)

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage cybersecurity programs to ensure alignment with enterprise goals and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Oversee cross-functional teams to deliver security initiatives and drive continuous improvement across cybersecurity efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical leads to prioritize backlogs and ensure risk-based delivery outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements like HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
• Report program status, KPIs, and risk posture to executive leadership and steering committees, maintaining transparency and accountability.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in program/project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale initiatives.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity program delivery, including familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
• Experience managing cybersecurity tools and platforms like Sailpoint, Delina, Azure B2C, Siteminder, and ITIL service management.
• Proficiency with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban to facilitate project delivery.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, complemented by a PMP certification.
