About This Role
This high-impact role is at the center of NVIDIA's Zero Trust security journey, combining deep technical ownership with the opportunity to shape how a world-class technology company secures its identity infrastructure. The Senior Engineer will build the strategy, planning, and management of the enterprise-wide Zero Trust architecture while driving continuous improvements across Active Directory, Entra ID, and SailPoint environments.
Responsibilities
- Build the strategy, planning, and management of the enterprise-wide Zero Trust architecture
- Drive continuous improvements across Active Directory, Entra ID, and SailPoint environments
- Design and implement robust security policies and access controls
- Provide technical mentorship on infrastructure improvements, third-party integrations, and platform upgrades across the organization
- Hold accountability for the strategy, roadmap, and operations of identity management and governance
- Ensure tight alignment with broader Zero Trust initiatives
- Spot process gaps and implement improvements
- Establish engineering guidelines that set the standard for the entire team
- Implement identity security capabilities such as SSO, conditional access, MFA, and privileged access
- Administer and evolve the SailPoint IdentityNow environment, including governance workflows, access certifications, role management, and integrations with enterprise applications
- Manage vendor relationships to resolve issues and deliver new platform features
- Champion development standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Apply AI tooling to improve infrastructure visibility and stability: telemetry, health checks, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted diagnostics that surface issues before users report them and give end users faster, self-service resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of solid experience in handling Active Directory and Entra ID environments
- Strong command of authentication protocols including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth
- Experience with MFA and SSO technologies
- Expertise across the full identity lifecycle: User Lifecycle Management, Access Certifications, Access Requests, role management, Workflow automation, and Delegated Administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks
- Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day engineering work
- Hands-on experience with an Identity Governance platform (SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience resolving intricate identity and access challenges
