The Role
• Operate and enhance data security platforms to ensure continuous visibility, governance, and enforcement.
• Manage the onboarding of new data sources and maintain comprehensive scanning coverage across various environments.
• Continuously refine classification rules and validation processes to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
• Optimize Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and enforcement mechanisms to balance robust protection with user usability.
• Identify and drive the remediation of overexposed, misclassified, or unprotected sensitive data.
• Analyze data exposure risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data security, cybersecurity, or a comparable domain.
• Hands-on experience with a data security platform (e.g., BigID, Varonis, Spirion) or a DLP solution (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec).
• Strong understanding of data classification, governance principles, and data protection techniques like DLP and encryption.
• Experience working within enterprise IT environments, including cloud, endpoint, and SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux and Kubernetes environments.
