About the Opportunity:
The Customer Support Engineer role is focused on providing technical support and product assistance to external customers. This position contributes to customer success by resolving technical issues, maintaining knowledge bases, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective problem-solving. The role is essential for enabling customer satisfaction and supporting the operational effectiveness of the organization's finance platform.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer issues and proactively engage to triage problems.
- Provide remote technical support to customers.
- Research and resolve complex technical problems.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and deliver thorough root cause analyses.
- Collaborate with other teams to address support and training challenges.
- Update and maintain technical knowledge base articles.
- Ensure customer interactions are positive and handled with urgency.
- Promote information sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
- Focus on effective and timely case resolution.
- Assist in developing innovative solutions and building strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
- College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years in IT helpdesk support.
- At least 1 year experience in Windows Server Administration.
- At least 1 year experience with Cloud Platform Technologies such as Azure or AWS.
- At least 1 year experience in Network Configuration and Troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience with Identity Provider configuration, Microsoft Azure Cloud, SQL Server, IIS, AI tools, Linux, scripting/programming languages, and familiarity with enterprise performance management products and tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Customer focus and ability to handle critical escalations.
- Self-motivated and proactive work approach.
