Customer Service Representative II

About This Role

A Customer Service Associate II supports the daily operations of a store, assisting customers and handling merchandising while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role involves cross-training for cash register and front-end duties as needed, making it suitable for someone with a positive, friendly disposition.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards
• Merchandise and stock as needed
• Assist with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High level of integrity
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting

Nice to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
