Customer Service Associate II

About This Role

This Customer Service Associate II position is for an individual with a positive, friendly disposition and eagerness to get things done. You will assist with the daily operations of an assigned store, from merchandising to supporting customers, while focusing on providing a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards
• Merchandise and stock as needed
• Assist with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required
