Customer Experience Banker

About This Role

The Customer Experience Banker acts as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers, focusing on retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. This role involves proactively identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate banking products and services, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues
• Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership
• Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree
• Licenses: This position will be subject to additional background check requirements including being required to provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations

Nice to have:

• 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales
• Cash handling skills
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services
