About This Role
This role supports back-office custody operations for banking and advisor client groups, managing various operational activities within time-sensitive delivery schedules. It suits a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with experience in custody operations, preferably using SWP.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day custody operations and back-office processing activities
- Process static data amendments including date of birth, address, fee packages, statement recipients, and other client/account information
- Execute inter-account cash and stock transfers based on client instructions
- Manage recurring and ad-hoc cash disbursements
- Process dividend and interest payments
- Review and post cash receipts from clients and counterparties
- Research client and portfolio-level information using SWP
- Generate and interpret BOXI reports for MIS and operational reporting
- Coordinate with multiple operational processing teams
- Maintain confidentiality, data quality, and privacy standards
- Manage multiple tasks within time-sensitive deadlines
- Support additional operational activities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field
- 1–4 years of Custody Operations experience
- Experience working with SWP
- Strong knowledge of custody/back-office operations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
- SWP navigation
- Client and portfolio-level data research
- BOXI reporting and MIS
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
- Understanding of Capital Markets
- Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Traditional Assets
- Understanding of custody and securities operations
Nice to have:
- Degree/background in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Experience in banking, financial services, custody, or securities operations
- Experience supporting banking or advisor client groups
