Curam Business Analyst

About This Role

Working in a collaborative team, the Curam Business Analyst analyzes client issues to gather information and synthesize findings into business requirements and design. This role involves assisting the project manager with development, providing updates on project processes and deliverables, and prioritizing objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist your project manager with development and provide updates on project processes and deliverables
• Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
• Apply your knowledge of the technology industry and Cúram solutions to support client delivery and contribute to Cúram-related initiatives

Requirements

• Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials
• 3-6 years of experience in business analysis with Cúram Business Application Suite
• 3-6 years of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties
• 3-6 years of experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules, processes
• Experience writing requirements and use cases
• Experience using Azure DevOps to manage requirements, user stories, backlogs, and work items within an Agile Scrum delivery model
• Experience in business modeling techniques, including the use of graphical process flow software
• Participate in/lead systems analysis and gap analysis
• Experience in planning and leading JAD sessions and creating functional / design documents
• Lead requirement gathering sessions, according to agreed-upon project scope for various areas of the application
• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
• Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
• Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving
• Ability to work in Canada
• Canada Federal Security Clearance – Enhanced Reliability or higher, or Eligible for Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance (i.e., 5 years current residence history in Canada/US)

Nice to have:

• Certified Business Analyst - Merative Cúram Platform for Business Analysts 8.X or prior version
• A postgraduate degree is a strong asset
• Knowledge of AI tools for the purpose design analysis would be a plus
