About the role
Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience within a collaborative care team.
Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures following department protocols, operate imaging equipment safely, adjust techniques to optimize diagnostic quality, and maintain infection control standards. Obtain clinical histories, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using clear communication. Administer contrast agents, position patients correctly, and review images for diagnostic acceptability. Complete accurate documentation and ensure proper study finalization in RIS/PACS. Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows by organizing daily tasks, maintaining equipment, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Technical proficiency in operating imaging/radiographic equipment and patient care skills.
