About the role
Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting patient care at a hospital setting.
Responsibilities Include
- Performing CT procedures per departmental guidelines, capturing diagnostic images, and adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
- Operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining cleanliness, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Obtaining patient history, verifying orders, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety using AIDET principles.
- Administering contrast agents, positioning patients correctly, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality.
- Accurately documenting procedures, ensuring proper study finalization in RIS/PACS, and supporting department operations.
- Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
