The role involves performing outpatient CT procedures as a valued member of a collaborative care team in a full-time position.
Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment safely, capturing diagnostic-quality images, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key duties also involve infection control, equipment maintenance, emergency response, workflow organization, and supporting departmental operations and compliance.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
Skills required are technical proficiency, attention to detail, patient communication, safety awareness, and teamwork.
