About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Registered CT Technologist to join a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing CT procedures following department guidelines to capture diagnostic images
- Operating imaging equipment safely and adjusting techniques to ensure quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA)
- Maintaining equipment and rooms per infection control protocols
- Obtaining patient history, verifying orders, and ensuring patient identification
- Explaining procedures, addressing patient questions, and ensuring comfort and safety
- Administering contrast, positioning patients, and reviewing images for diagnostic quality
- Documenting procedures accurately and ensuring proper study finalization in RIS and PACS
- Responding to emergencies, supporting department workflows, and maintaining compliance
Qualifications Include
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year radiology experience
- Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS
