CT Technologist Nights

The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They are valued clinical professionals and key members of a collaborative care team, responsible for performing CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Duties Include

• Operating imaging/radiographic equipment independently while adjusting techniques to ensure diagnostic quality with minimal radiation exposure.
• Preparing and maintaining equipment and rooms per infection control protocols, reporting issues promptly.
• Obtaining clinical history, verifying patient identity, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Administering contrast, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring safety and privacy throughout exams.
• Reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability, documenting accurately, and managing RIS/PACS workflows.
• Monitoring patient condition, responding to emergencies, and supporting department operations by maintaining supplies and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications Include

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT in Radiography and CT, BLS from the American Heart Association.
