About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures independently, ensuring diagnostic image quality while adhering to safety protocols (ALARA).
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures using AIDET, and address questions to reduce anxiety.
- Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and screen for contraindications before exams.
- Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and perform venipuncture when necessary.
- Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or adjust as needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness, disinfect equipment, and report malfunctions promptly.
- Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist in maintaining safety and equipment readiness.
- Organize workflows, support department operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
Skills: Technical proficiency in CT imaging, strong patient communication, attention to safety and detail, ability to work independently, and team collaboration skills.
