CT Technologist - Night Shift

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Duties Include

• Performing CT procedures following department protocols to capture diagnostic images.
• Operating imaging equipment independently while maintaining patient safety and minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Ensuring cleanliness, disinfection, and proper maintenance of equipment and rooms.
• Obtaining patient history, verifying orders, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Providing age-appropriate patient care, ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety throughout exams.
• Administering contrast agents via venipuncture and sterile techniques when necessary.
• Positioning patients accurately, applying markers, shielding, and immobilization techniques.
• Reviewing images for diagnostic quality, repeating exams if needed, and documenting procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and maintaining life-support equipment.
• Organizing workflows, supporting department operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications Include

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
