About the role
Role: CT Technologist responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
Key Duties: Operates imaging equipment, performs CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures, and produces high-quality images. Assesses, plans, and evaluates patient care across all ages. Utilizes PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer, maintains accurate records, and ensures data confidentiality per HIPAA. Conducts routine equipment maintenance, manages supplies, and performs additional related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills: Requires ARRT certification, CA radiologic tech license, and BLS certification. Advanced CT certification preferred in CA, with fluoroscopy license and venipuncture certification beneficial. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. Must adhere to vaccination policies and safety standards.
