About the role
The role involves supporting various imaging services across multiple facilities as part of a Diagnostic Float Team. As a CT Technologist , you will perform high-quality CT exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, preparing patients, establishing IV access, administering contrast media, operating CT equipment, optimizing images, and recognizing urgent findings. You will also handle documentation, quality control, and support operational needs, including cross-coverage and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification.
Skills: Excellent communication, patient care, technical proficiency in CT imaging, safety awareness, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
