About the role
The role involves supporting multiple imaging facilities as a CT Technologist within a float team, providing safe, high-quality CT imaging and compassionate patient care across various locations.
Responsibilities include performing CT exams, verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, preparing and positioning patients, establishing IV access, administering contrast media, operating CT equipment, optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation, evaluating images, and documenting accurately.
Qualifications required are a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least two years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience. Certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS are necessary.
