The technologist must operate CT equipment securely, administer contrast media, monitor for adverse reactions, and optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure ( ALARA principles). They are responsible for accurate documentation, quality control, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent , completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience . Certifications include ARRT-R , ARRT-CT , and BLS .
