About the role
The role involves supporting a variety of imaging services across multiple facilities as part of the Diagnostic Float Team, primarily focusing on CT Technologist duties in Region Four.
Responsibilities include performing CT exams, verifying patient identity, obtaining history, explaining procedures empathetically, preparing patients, establishing IV access, administering contrast media, operating CT scanners, and ensuring image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. The role requires evaluating images, recognizing urgent findings, documenting accurately, and maintaining quality control standards.
Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent , completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience , and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS .
Ideal skills include technical proficiency, patient communication, attention to safety protocols, and ability to support daily operations.
