About the role
Role Overview: A CT Technologist supporting multiple imaging locations within a regional float team. Responsible for delivering high-quality, safe CT imaging and providing compassionate patient care across various facilities.
- Key Responsibilities: Perform CT exams following physician orders and safety protocols, verify patient identity, explain procedures, prepare and position patients, establish IV access, administer contrast media, operate CT equipment, optimize image quality while minimizing radiation, evaluate images, document accurately, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Support daily operations by managing workload, maintaining equipment, supporting cross-coverage, and adhering to regulatory and quality standards.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 2 years hospital radiologic technologist experience, and 2 years CT experience.
- Certifications required: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
- Skills & Attributes: Strong technical skills in CT imaging, patient communication, attention to safety, and ability to work independently across multiple locations. Willingness to support cross-coverage and adapt to variable schedules.
