CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and supporting patient care at a healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment hygiene.
• Gather clinical history, verify orders, and prepare patients by explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques when necessary, position patients correctly, and apply appropriate shielding.
• Review and process images, correct errors, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflow by organizing tasks and collaborating with team members.
• Maintain infection control, restock equipment, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
