About the role
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality, safe imaging procedures in a collaborative healthcare environment.
They operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to ensure diagnostic accuracy while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key duties include preparing patients, explaining procedures, administering contrast, positioning patients, capturing and reviewing images, and documenting accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
They must follow infection control protocols, respond to emergencies, and support operational efficiency by organizing workflows and maintaining equipment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
Essential skills involve technical expertise, patient communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
