Role: CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging safely and efficiently, adhering to department protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to ensure diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification for each procedure.
• Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care to ensure comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and perform venipuncture when needed.
• Position patients accurately, apply shielding, and immobilize as necessary.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat scans if needed, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with department workflow, organize daily tasks, and support operational compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
