About the role
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in a collaborative healthcare setting.
They operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy while delivering accurate diagnostic images.
Key duties include obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and ensuring proper documentation in RIS/PACS.
They must maintain equipment hygiene, identify and report issues, and respond to emergencies.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and minimum one year of radiology experience.
Certifications required are ARRT in Radiography and CT, along with BLS from the American Heart Association.
Skills involve technical proficiency, attention to detail, patient communication, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
