This opportunity supports a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers, responsible for improving, protecting, and defending our Nation’s Security. Job Description: - We are looking for a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist who can apply their expertise in computer science, mathematics, and engineering to design, develop, and evaluate algorithms and techniques for solving complex cryptographic and security-related problems. The ideal candidate will create and utilize mathematical models and methods to study cryptographic systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to secure sensitive information. Additionally, you will work on high-performance computing projects to optimize cryptographic processes and address security challenges across diverse computing environments. The Level 3 Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist shall possess the following capabilities: - Design, develop, and evaluate algorithms and techniques for solving complex cryptographic and security-related problems. - Create and utilize mathematical models and methods to study cryptographic systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to secure sensitive information. - Work on high-performance computing projects to optimize cryptographic processes and address security challenges across diverse computing environments. Qualifications: - Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience. - Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience. - Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience. - Associates degree with 10 years of relevant experience. - Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above). - Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high-performance computing. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph |
