About This Role
This role involves owning conversion across the LiveFootballTickets funnel, from search to checkout. The specialist will set up customer research, turn data into hypotheses, run rigorous experiments, and translate results into product decisions. It is a hands-on role within the product team, working closely with marketing and developers.
Responsibilities
- Understand the funnel by analysing customer movement through the site, identifying conversion changes, and turning them into clear opportunities
- Set up customer research, building a steady flow of qualitative input through surveys, exit-intent, session recordings, and user feedback across markets
- Own the experimentation roadmap and pipeline, prioritising a backlog of hypotheses and managing every test end-to-end, from build to implementation or iteration
- Design and run A/B tests on key journeys (search, event page, seat and category selection, checkout, payment), with proper sample-size planning and pre-registered success metrics
- Evaluate results rigorously, examining CVR, RPU, and AOV by device and market, and investigating the behavioural change behind the numbers
- Build reliable measurement, ensuring on-site and experiment tracking (GA4 / GTM, Convert) and reporting (Looker Studio / BigQuery) remain accurate and consistent, alongside Marketing, and automating wherever possible
- Share what is learned by maintaining a learning repository and presenting insights to product, marketing, and management in plain language
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on CRO or experimentation experience, ideally in e-commerce or ticketing
- Experience owning A/B tests end-to-end on a live e-commerce site, from hypothesis and test design to analysis and the final call, and having helped set up or improve a testing process
- A solid grasp of test statistics, including sample size and MDE, SRM checks, and the pitfalls of peeking, with comfort in frequentist and/or Bayesian evaluation and the ability to explain test conclusions
- Experience with an experimentation platform (e.g., Convert, Optimizely, VWO) and with GA4 / GTM
- SQL skills (BigQuery preferred) to pull and validate data independently
- Strong UX and behavioural instincts, able to identify areas of doubt in a checkout process
- An ownership mindset, researching, digging deep, asking the right questions, finding necessary data, tools, and people, and automating workflows as much as possible
- Comfortable in a direct environment where people challenge each other and give open feedback
- Clear communication in English; Dutch or another market language is a plus
Nice to have:
- Front-end basics (HTML/CSS/JS) for building test variants
- A love of football
Benefits
- Real ownership of experimentation on the biggest brand, with freedom to decide how it’s done
- A good pension scheme and travel allowance
- 25+ holiday days and a personal learning and development budget
- A profitable, growing international company with a small team, short lines, and lots of room for impact
Important Details
- Work format: 3 days a week at the Amsterdam office, with up to one month a year fully remote
Application Process
- Send your CV with a short note on an experimentation programme or test you owned, and the test that taught you the most, including one that didn’t win
