Criminal Justice Adjunct

About This Role

Being a Criminal Justice Adjunct Instructor at Tri-County Technical College involves teaching various criminal justice courses and maintaining records of student progress. Responsibilities

• Teach various criminal justice courses using planned and delivered instruction
• Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance
• Evaluate the level of achievement and assign grades
• Participate in practical applications using the Force Simulation Lab or other settings

Requirements

• Master
• Minimum of 18 graduate hours in criminal justice
• Willingness to teach onsite

Nice to have:

• Master
• At least 7 years of related field experience in law enforcement, including carrying firearms, investigating violations of state or federal criminal statutes, making arrests for criminal violations, and executing warrants
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience, including online and in-person
• SCCJA Basic Instructor Development (BID) certification or equivalent out-of-state certification
