Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Sanitate workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas regularly to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours in a quick service fast food restaurant or grocery store setting.
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, grocery store, or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, sanitation practices, and customer engagement techniques.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
