Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling duties including packaging, serving, and ensuring proper food storage practices
- Support team members in daily restaurant operations such as stocking supplies and managing food inventory
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly while maintaining a positive attitude
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods during shifts
