Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning kitchen equipment, counters, dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards
- Manage food safety protocols including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food service customer order management, including serving meals promptly and bussing tables as needed
- Support retail sales transactions by processing cash register operations and processing cash or card payments efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
- Experience in food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
