Credit Manager

About This Role

This Credit Manager role oversees credit and collections activities, ensuring outstanding customer service and supporting the financial health of the organization. It is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys analyzing risk, solving problems, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to improve cash flow and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories
• Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit risks
• Lead collection efforts and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary
• Support and guide credit team members on complex accounts and collection matters
• Maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring timely payment of invoices
• Prepare reports and provide insights on account status, collections performance, and credit exposure
• Help manage incoming Accounts Receivable communications and direct requests appropriately
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of credit, collections, or accounts receivable experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
