About This Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Lending Officer, the Credit Analyst reviews and analyzes information from existing loan clients and applicants. This role makes meaningful recommendations to the Bank’s loan officers and determines the creditworthiness of applicants.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update information for credit applications collected by the Banks’ Loan Officers
- Determine the creditworthiness of applicants
- Designate the degree of risk involved in extending credit by performing cash flow analysis of businesses
- Review existing credits to ensure compliance with ongoing reporting requirements and compliance with covenants and conditions in their respective loan agreements
- Make recommendations to Loan Officers
- Assist Loan Administration and Loan Officers with the collection of clients’ ongoing due diligence requirements
- Review insurance policies to ensure compliance with Bank standards
- Read and review Appraisals
- Actively manage Tickler and logs
- Participate in projects related to the department
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed in support of the business objectives of the bank
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
- Proficiency in word processing, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis software
- Knowledge of Bank loan regulations, policies, and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills

Nice to have:
- 1 year of Fair Housing Regulations experience
