This role is for a Creative Strategist to join a small, global team pushing the boundaries of what is possible in language learning. The core of the job is owning paid creative from the initial idea to live testing, ensuring every piece is shipped and tested. It is a performance-first role, where success is judged by in-market creative performance rather than aesthetics.
Responsibilities
Own the creative ideas behind paid campaigns across web, web-to-app, and app (iOS and Android) on Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple Search Ads, AppLovin, and Snapchat
Translate performance data, competitor ads, and audience research into new concepts
Test hooks, angles, and formats with clear hypotheses, feeding results back into briefs
Own all creative production, including UGC, AI video, and statics
Write detailed briefs for designers and UGC creators, specifying angle, audience, references, models, tools, and specs
Specify the appropriate AI model for each shot, understanding their strengths
Maintain quality standards and brand consistency across all shipped creative
Manage every creative from brief through production to a live test
Collaborate with UA and media buyers on test structure and scaling/killing decisions
Analyze results across the full funnel (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPM, CVR, CPA, ROAS), identifying misleading metrics
Build automated processes, prompt libraries, templates, and batch pipelines to increase output and reduce repetitive work
Stay updated with new AI models and integrate effective ones into the workflow
Document processes for team use
Requirements
2+ years in creative strategy for paid acquisition, ideally as a creative manager, creative lead, or creative strategist alongside a performance or UA team
Strong creative judgment, capable of generating ideas and maintaining high quality
Experience owning creative production end-to-end, including directing designers, editors, and UGC creators
Experience owning creative against a CPA or ROAS target, with ability to discuss specific numbers
Solid UA knowledge: account structure, testing frameworks, learning phase, creative fatigue, algorithm-based spend allocation, and reasons for discrepancy between upper-funnel metrics and overall account performance
Understanding of channel differences: web vs web-to-app vs app install, iOS vs Android, and Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple Search Ads, AppLovin, and Snapchat, including why creative performs differently across channels and how ATT and iOS attribution affect data interpretation
Comfortable with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager
AI-native, with knowledge of current video, image, and voice models and their specific strengths:
