Schedule: Part-Time (32 hours/week), Monday–Thursday
Job Summary
- We are seeking a talented Creative Designer with a strong background in instructional design and multimedia content development to support training, education, and communication initiatives.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex information into engaging, visually compelling learning experiences.
- The successful candidate will partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts to create high-quality digital and print learning materials, including facilitator guides, participant manuals, presentations, interactive learning assets, graphics, videos, and multimedia content. This position requires excellent visual design skills, creativity, and experience developing learning content using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- This is a remote, part-time opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging learning materials for instructor-led, virtual, mobile, and web-based training programs.
- Create visually compelling presentations, participant guides, facilitator manuals, job aids, and other educational resources.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop curriculum, storyboards, case studies, pre-work, and post-training materials.
- Design graphics, illustrations, infographics, and branded visual assets that support learning objectives and organizational standards.
- Develop multimedia content including videos, animations, interactive learning experiences, and motion graphics.
- Produce and edit photography, audio, and video assets for training and communication initiatives.
- Perform photo editing, image enhancement, and post-production activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Assist with multimedia production, including equipment setup, recording, editing, archiving, and asset management.
- Create responsive design concepts, interface mockups, and visual layouts for digital learning experiences.
- Ensure all creative assets align with branding guidelines, accessibility standards, and user experience best practices.
- Publish and maintain learning content using content management systems and learning platforms.
- Organize and maintain a centralized library of creative assets and learning resources.
- Participate in project planning, design reviews, and quality assurance activities to ensure timely delivery of learning materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Instructional Design, Computer Art, Web Design, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience designing multimedia and instructional learning content.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, presentation development, multimedia, and instructional design projects.
- Experience creating learning materials for instructor-led and digital learning environments.
- Excellent understanding of visual design, layout, typography, colour theory, and branding principles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting corporate learning, training, or educational initiatives.
- Experience creating facilitator guides, learner manuals, presentations, and curriculum materials.
- Experience working with learning management systems or enterprise learning platforms.
- Previous experience supporting healthcare, healthcare finance, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with responsive web design concepts and multimedia production workflows.
- Experience creating interactive eLearning content and multimedia assets.
