About This Role
This night-shift post involves the courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, ensuring all shipments conform to Federal Express Canada features of service, and providing related customer service functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route
- Check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service
- Provide related customer service functions
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Complete and achieve minimum thresholds on any mandatory testing and training
- Operate in a PC Windows environment
- Successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
- Work varying shifts based on business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma/educational equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
- Full G Driver license required
- Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application
- Bilingual (French and English) if residing in the province of Quebec
Nice to have:
- One (1) year customer oriented business experience
- Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations
Important Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:30pm - 8pm, shuttle to 1201 Logistics Private, Ottawa and back to Cornwall. Shift timings may be subject to change based on operational needs.
