About This Role
This night-shift post involves picking, packing, and processing customer orders, ensuring accurate completion of weigh bills, and following up on any shortages. The role suits a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work from verbal or written instructions and work orders
- Pick, pack, and process customer orders through WMS/TMS
- Complete weigh bills
- Use Purolator and UPS Mailing systems
- Follow up on shortages and expedite through reporting to their Team Leader
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles
- Continue to grow Lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement to product and processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of previous experience
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to think independently while working with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced multi-functional environment where priorities change regularly
- Customer service oriented with an eye for detail
