Job Description
- It is responsibility of cost controller to audit the activities of the materials management department.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports relating to cost of sales.
- Prepare figures on General Stores issues such as Guest Supplies usage against budget.
- Checking data entry of material management employees and correcting when necessary.
- Auditing inventory transactions make the commissary (pasty and butchery) and outlet kitchens for the purposes of inventory control and potential costing.
- Maintaining records of inventory transactions, ensuring their accuracy and authorization.
- Perform inventory stock count by the end of month, reconcile and investigate any differences arising from the result.
- Performs balance sheet reconciliation for Inventory (food, beverage, general, engineering)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Two years accounting experience, preferable in a hospitality environment
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting software
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
