About This Role
This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses.
Responsibilities
- Prepare product-wise cost sheets (BOM-based)
- Conduct standard vs. actual cost and yield/wastage analysis
- Determine landed cost of imports and provide export pricing support
- Perform inventory valuation
- Provide costing inputs for pricing, margins, and new products
- Maintain complete books on Tally ERP / Zoho Books
- Manage monthly closing, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet schedules
- Handle GST, TDS, PF/ESI filings
- Manage e-invoicing
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Customs, and Export-Import regulations
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for audits and assessments
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic business forecasts (revenue, costs, cash flow) in coordination with functional heads
- Monitor performance against budget through MIS, with variance analysis and corrective inputs to Management
- Manage banking operations and reconciliations
- Monitor working capital and prepare cash flow projections
- Handle import/export bank documentation
- Provide monthly MIS to Management on financials with budget vs. actual tracking, cost trends, ageing, and compliance
- Liaise with government departments, banks, and consultants
- Supervise accounts staff
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing / export-oriented unit (nutraceuticals / cosmetics / natural extracts), with hands-on product costing
- M.Com / MBA (Finance) with costing exposure
- Proficient in Tally ERP and Zoho Books
- Advanced MS Office Excel for costing models, Word, PPT
- Proficient in GST portal and e-invoicing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, particularly in cost analysis
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication in English and Tamil
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential financial information with integrity
Nice to have:
- ICWA / CMA (Inter) an advantage
- Hindi language skills preferred
