This role at Mill Falls at the Lake involves providing professional hair, makeup, and nail services in a luxury spa environment. The cosmetologist will focus on creating exceptional guest experiences and contributing to a positive team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair treatments using current techniques and color theory principles
- Educate oneself on the ingredients of products used
- Perform makeup application and nail care to enhance client beauty routines
- Have complete knowledge of all spa services, promotions, and retail products offered by the spa
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their needs and offering product recommendations for retail sales
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through sharing expertise in barbering, store management, and client communication skills
- Be available for evening and weekend shifts
Requirements
- Must hold a current NH Cosmetology License
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, and store management practices
- Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on customer service excellence and client communication
- Ability to perform makeup applications with attention to detail
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Competence in upselling products effectively while maintaining excellent client relationships
- Excellent communication skills coupled with mentoring abilities to support team development
