- Mainframe environment knowledge for source data analysis and business validation
- Functional spec creation, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and RTM management
- Defect tracking, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and production incident resolution
Secondary (Good to Have):
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and test plan execution
- Data analysis and business rule validation for automated output generation
- Regulatory compliance management for customer communications, notices, and statements
- Cross-functional liaison experience between business, dev, QA, and production support
- Change management coordination and release support for critical deployments
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Correspondence Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience to join a hybrid engagement in Columbus, GA (3 days onsite/week). Sitting within the Customer Communications Management (CCM) domain, this role serves as the key functional liaison between business stakeholders, dev, QA, and production support teams. The incumbent will lead end-to-end requirement gathering, impact analysis, and solution design across OpenText Exstream and Quadient Inspire platforms while leveraging mainframe knowledge for data validation—ensuring precise, regulatory-compliant execution of customer notices, statements, and communication workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specs, user stories, and BRDs for enterprise correspondence and communication templates
- Design and review correspondence solutions using OpenText Exstream and Quadient Inspire platforms while maintaining traceability
- Analyze mainframe source data and business rules to validate correspondence generation and support mainframe-based testing activities
- Create and execute test scenarios, manage UAT coordination, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production defects, and implement corrective actions
- Manage change management workflows and monitor production processing to ensure full regulatory and corporate compliance during deployments
