Corrections Officer

About This Role

A Corrections Officer maintains security and order within the correctional facility and supports the rehabilitation and reentry of inmates. This role provides an opportunity to gain criminal justice experience for law enforcement officers and offers a path for career progression within the ranks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and order within the correctional facility
• Support the rehabilitation and preparation of inmates for reentry

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current driver's license with acceptable driver's history
• Successfully pass a written exam
• Coordinate and pass pre-employment screenings (physical, drug screening, background checks, interview)
